Leslie Cabinet
The Conn Trinidad features a fully operational built in Leslie cabinet that is used on the solely on the Tibia voices to provide a real tremolo or chorus effect. The cabinet can remain in an “off” position and be used as a conventional speaker, or it can be used in either fast, “tremolo” mode or in the slower “chorus” mode which provides a pleasing gentle effect especially effective in church or hymnal music.
Other Features
I. Console lighting
The console has built in lighting around the stop tabs and switches meaning that you can always see clearly what each stop tab will do.
II. Effects and extra voicing
There are a number of extra switches for extra special voices and effects which can alter the tuning of the organ and an a smaller chorus, reverb or sustain effect to the Tibia sections of the organ.
III. Pre-programmed registrations
A set of six pistons allows you to override your registration and select a pre-configured registration with easy-to-see indicator lamps. The sound increases as you move up from piston 1 to piston 5.
IV. “Show-Chord” auto chord function
A special “Show-Chord” feature is present between the manuals which can be switched on with two additional thumb pistons which allows the organ to show you appropriate chords in relation to the pedal note you are pressing. The second piston will let the organ play the chord for you too.
V. Voicing customisation
There are a final four thumb pistons that subtly alter the tone of the organ’s voices. These can emphasise the string stops, the bass or treble of the Tibias or emphasis the percussion section.
